Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
801 AM PDT Fri Jun 23 2017

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 9 PM PDT SUNDAY...

Current warnings/watches...none.

.DISCUSSION...High temperatures in the 90s are possible on Saturday and
especially Sunday. Minimum RH values will fall into the 20s and 30s both
days. Some RH recovery, into the 50s and 60s, will occur each night.
Increasing onshore flow will bring higher RH values and much lower
temperatures beginning around Monday. No lightning is forecast on any
day. Low RH and some moderate offshore wind will bring those
conditions close to Red Flag criteria this weekend, mainly over the
lowlands. However, fuel moisture is still high, so it is unlikely all
the criteria will be reached. There is still snow on the ground
above about 4000 feet, so fire danger in the mountains remains low.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
