...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

The return of weak onshore flow and a gradually deepening marine
layer expected Friday and through the weekend will bring slightly
cooler temperatures and slightly better humidity recoveries
overnight to the coastal regions. That being said, hot and dry
conditions will continue over inland areas as well as over the
hills.

...Discussion from SFOFWFSTO...

Surface high pressure over the Pacific Northwest and upper high
pressure over the west coast will bring hot, dry and windy
conditions to much of the forecast area today. The breeziest winds
will be across the northern Sacramento valley and foothills where
critical fire weather conditions are expected to continue. RH may
get down to single digits with teen RH readings elsewhere. Lighter
winds, a slight cooling and slightly increased RH are in store
Friday. A more significant cool off with higher RH is expected over
the weekend but temperatures will still remain above normal.
