...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

THE REMNANTS OF HURRICANE ODILE WILL TRACK EAST OF OUR AREA THROUGH
THURSDAY. A SURGE OF MOISTURE FROM THIS STORM WILL INCREASE THE
THREAT OF SCATTERED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS AND FLASH FLOODING FOR
PORTIONS OF THE AREA. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE INTO THE
AREA ON THURSDAY EVENING TO BEGIN A DRYING TREND. THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES LOOK TO BE LIMITED TO EASTERN PORTIONS OF LINCOLN AND MOHAVE
COUNTY FRIDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

MOIST UNSTABLE AIR WILL CONTINUE OVER THE REGION ONE MORE DAY.
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP IN THE MOUNTAINS...DESERTS...AND FAR
INLAND VALLEYS. LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY HEAVY RAIN.
A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL BRING COOLER AND DRIER WEATHER THURSDAY
AND WILL REDEVELOP A MARINE LAYER. THE MARINE LAYER WILL DEEPEN
CONSIDERABLY FRIDAY AND DIMINISH OVER THE WEEKEND. HIGH PRESSURE
NEXT WEEK WILL BRING DRY AND WARMER WEATHER.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

ABUNDANT MOISTURE FROM THE REMAINS OF HURRICANE ODILE WILL CONTINUE
TO SPREAD NORTHWARD INTO THE DESERT SOUTHWEST THROUGH
THURSDAY...WITH WIDESPREAD SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY TO
CONTINUE OVER THE REGION...WITH PARTS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA TO
SEE HEAVY RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED FLOODING. MINIMUM HUMIDITY LEVELS
WILL ONLY FALL INTO THE 35-50 PERCENT RANGE...WITH EXCELLENT
OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES. WINDS NEAR THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE BRIEFLY
GUSTY...BUT OTHERWISE FAVOR AN EASTERLY DIRECTION UP TO 15 MPH.
