...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR OVER MUCH OF THE
REGION TODAY WITH ANY STORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL. ALTHOUGH STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN INYO COUNTY TODAY,
THOSE ARE EXPECTED TO BE MORE ISOLATED. HOWEVER, AREAS OF FAR
SOUTHEASTERN INYO COULD SEE MORE SCATTERED STORMS. CONDITIONS WILL
GRADUALLY DRY OUT MIDWEEK ONWARD, WITH THUNDERSTORMS DECREASING IN
COVERAGE EACH DAY. TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR NORMAL TO SOMEWHAT
BELOW NORMAL THROUGH WEDNESDAY, BEFORE RETURNING TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE
NORMAL LATE IN THE WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL BRING A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WITH WETTING RAINFALL THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR THE
MOUNTAINS...DESERTS...AND INLAND EMPIRE WITH SMALLER CHANCES
ELSEWHERE AND AT OTHER TIMES. THE CHANCE FOR MOUNTAIN AND DESERT
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ON TUESDAY...DECREASING ON WEDNESDAY.
WARMING WITH DECREASING HUMIDITIES FOR WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
SLOW COOLING AND A SLOW RETURN OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE FOR NEXT
WEEKEND THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK MAY RETURN THE CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON
THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

HUMID CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING,
BEFORE DRIER AIR MOVES INTO THE REGION. EXPECT TEMPERATURES TO WARM
BACK TO NEAR SEASONAL NORMALS, WITH REDUCED PRECIPITATION CHANCES
THROUGH AT LEAST WEDNESDAY. A SIGNIFICANT DECLINE IN HUMIDITY
VALUES WILL ALSO OCCUR INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON AREA-WIDE. WINDS WILL
GENERALLY BE LIGHT AND FOLLOW TYPICAL DIURNAL PATTERNS.
