...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A FEW AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
AROUND TODAY AND POSSIBLY ON FRIDAY OVER THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN.
OTHERWISE EXPECT DRY CONDITIONS WITH A WARMING TREND THROUGH THE
WEEKEND. THE WARMEST WEATHER OF THE YEAR SO FAR IS EXPECTED THIS
WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES SHOULD GRADUALLY LOWER TO NEAR NORMAL BY THE
MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

BUILDING HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL FLATTEN THE MARINE
LAYER...WEAKEN ONSHORE FLOW AND BRING WARMING INLAND THROUGH
SATURDAY...WHILE THE MARINE LAYER CONTINUES HIGHER HUMIDITY WITH
NIGHT AND MORNING LOW CLOUDS AND FOG CLOSER TO THE COAST. FOR
SUNDAY THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK...A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE
INLAND ALONG THE WEST COAST. THIS WILL BRING STRONGER ONSHORE
FLOW...AND A COOLING TREND...ALONG WITH A DEEPENING OF THE MARINE
LAYER AND HIGHER RELATIVE HUMIDITY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BUILD OVER THE AREA...LEADING TO
SUNNY SKIES...STEADILY WARMING HIGH TEMPERATURES AND DRY CONDITIONS.
NORMAL HIGHS ARE EXPECTED TODAY AND BY FRIDAY MOST OF THE WARMEST
LOWER DESERTS WILL REACH OR EXCEED 100 DEGREES. MINIMUM RH VALUES
WILL RANGE FROM THE SINGLE DIGITS TO LOW TEENS BOTH DAYS. WINDS WILL
BE RATHER LIGHT AND FEATURE SOME LOCALIZED AFTERNOON GUSTINESS FROM
THE SOUTH OR SOUTHWEST.
