...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED TODAY
ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHERN NEVADA AND NORTHWEST ARIZONA AS A WEATHER
SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH. GUSTY NORTH WINDS WILL ALSO PERSIST ACROSS
INYO COUNTY. SHOWER CHANCES STICK AROUND THROUGH THE WEEKEND BEFORE
THINGS BEGIN TO DRY OUT AND WARM UP NEXT WEEK. TEMPERATURES WILL
RETURN TO ABOVE NORMAL VALUES BY TUESDAY AND REMAIN THERE THROUGH
THURSDAY BEFORE ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM BRINGS INCREASING CLOUDS AND
COOLER TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION...ALONG WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS
LATE IN THE WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

LOW PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHWESTERN STATES WILL BRING COOLING AND A
DEEPER MARINE LAYER WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH SUNDAY...MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING EACH DAY. A FEW SHOWERS COULD LINGER NEAR THE SAN BERNARDINO
MOUNTAINS ON MONDAY. OTHERWISE DRY WITH WARMING FOR MONDAY AND
TUESDAY. FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...A SLOW MOVING LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL BEGIN A COOLING TREND WITH
INCREASING CLOUDS ON THURSDAY. FOR THURSDAY NIGHT INTO NEXT
WEEKEND...THAT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE SLOWLY INLAND BRINGING
COOLING...MORE CLOUDS...AND CHANCES FOR SHOWERS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM IS ON FAST APPROACH INTO THE REGION THIS
MORNING FROM THE NORTH AND WILL LEAD TO HIGH-BASED SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ACROSS AZ. ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE NOT OVERLY
ABUNDANT WITH THIS FEATURE...SO CHANCES FOR WETTING RAINS ARE VERY
LOW TO NIL. LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF THE CO RIVER VALLEY CAN
EXPECT MOSTLY DRY BUT STRONG WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS DURING THE DAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE THEIR BELOW AVERAGE TREND. MINIMUM
HUMIDITIES WILL DRY IN THE MID TEENS TO UPPER 30 PERCENT RANGE WITH
GOOD TO EXCELLENT OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES.
