...BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS THIS AFTERNOON WITH DRY COLD FRONTAL
PASSAGE...

.DISCUSSION...
Inversion will break around Noon MDT today as an upper level
trough and weak dry cold front move into the area. This should
clear out most of the smoke in the valleys. Expect West-Northwest
winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 MPH by 200 PM MDT with the
frontal passage. Wind will slowly diminish after midnight. Cooler
temperatures today with the trough passage will result in higher
RHs on the fire of around 20 percent. A weak inversion will setup
again overnight but will break by 11 AM Sunday. Lighter winds and
below normal temperatures on Sunday will lead to min RH around 25
percent.
