.DISCUSSION...

High pressure over the western Great Lakes region is resulting in
sunny skies and very light winds this morning. South to south-
southeast flow will develop by this afternoon as the high pressure
shifts east, and there will be increasing cloud cover later
today. Afternoon mixing will help drawn down even drier air aloft,
so relative humidity should plummet to near 20 percent. This
looks to be a particularly dry day, so it can be difficult for the
models to model relative humidity on the extreme side. It is
possible the humidity could drop below 20 percent for a period in
the middle to late afternoon. We will keep an eye on the trend
this morning and update if needed. Please let us know if you have
any concerns.
