SPOT FORECAST FOR BEAVER...USFS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEDFORD OR
843 PM PDT WED AUG 27 2014

FORECAST IS BASED ON REQUEST TIME OF 1550 PDT ON AUGUST 27.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE...CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE.

.DISCUSSION...THE FORECAST FOR THE FIRE AREA WILL REMAIN VERY
SIMILAR TO PREVIOUS DAYS...WITH LITTLE CHANGE UNTIL THIS WEEKEND.
UNTIL THEN...DRY AND VERY WARM CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE...WITH
POOR TO MODERATE OVERNIGHT HUMIDITY RECOVERIES. WINDS WILL BE
DOMINATED BY LOCAL CIRCULATIONS...WHICH WILL INTERACT WITH THE
VERY LIGHT WEST TO NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT. THIS WILL LEAD TO VARYING
WIND CONDITIONS BETWEEN THE KLAMATH RIVER VALLEY AND THE BEAVER
CREEK DRAINAGE. ALSO...THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT A VERY DRY
LAYER OF AIR MAY SET IN ALONG THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE FIRE
BOTH THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT. A SERIES OF DRY COLD FRONTS WILL
MOVE THROUGH THIS WEEKEND...LEADING TO SLIGHTLY COOLER DAYTIME
TEMPERATURES AND SLIGHTLY IMPROVED OVERNIGHT RIDGETOP RECOVERIES.
