.DISCUSSION...THE BERMUDA RIDGE AXIS EXTENDS FROM THE NORTHERN
BAHAMAS TO THE FLORIDA BIG BEND AND WILL MOVE LITTLE OVER THE NEXT
24 HOURS. THIS POSITION WILL GENERATE AN EAST-SOUTHEAST SURFACE
WIND (COMPASS DIRECTION BETWEEN 100 AND 130) AND A DEAD CENTER
SOUTHEAST TRANSPORT WIND (COMPASS DIRECTION BETWEEN 130 AND 150).
DUE TO THE CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THE RIDGE AXIS...WINDS THROUGH THE
MIXING LAYER WILL BE AT OR BELOW 12 MPH...RESULTING IN POOR TO FAIR
DISPERSION CONDITIONS. THE ONSHORE FLOW WILL KEEP AFTERNOON RELATIVE
HUMIDITY ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS...BUT RAIN CHANCES WILL BE NEAR ZERO.
