.DISCUSSION...Monsoonal moisture will be working its way northward
and will result in some afternoon thunderstorms very near the fire.
Threats from these storms will include gusty and erratic outflow
winds, frequent lightning and localized heavy rain. But widespread
heavy rain is not expected over this fire.

Lesser chances for thunderstorms are expected on Friday with drier
conditions returning over the weekend. The forecast thereafter is
for persistent hot and dry weather to continue. Winds will remain
terrain driven and diurnal in nature.
