.DISCUSSION...A STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE AREA
THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL REMAIN IN PLACE
THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON. THE BURN SITE WILL BE SOMEWHAT SHELTERED
FROM THESE WINDS IN THE CANYON...AS WINDS OUTSIDE OF THE CANYON
AND NEAR RIDGELINES WILL BE STRONGER WITH GUSTS OVER 40 MPH. SNOW
IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA DURING MUCH OF THE DAY
MONDAY...ALTHOUGH SNOW LEVELS MAY BE NEAR THE ELEVATION OF THE
BURN SITE DURING THE MORNING. SNOW WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING WITH STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3-5
INCHES. A FEW LINGERING SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE FOR
TUESDAY...OTHERWISE THE PATTERN WILL TREND DRIER HEADING INTO THE
SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK. MIXING CONDITIONS WILL BE EXCELLENT ON
MONDAY WITH THE STORM BUT WILL BE MORE MARGINAL BY TUESDAY.
