.DISCUSSION...Southwesterly winds will continue at the project
site through tonight and most of Thursday, with the strongest and
gustiest winds expected Thursday afternoon. The cold front is
expected to move through the area late Thursday afternoon or early
Thursday evening. The most likely time for the front to pass is
between 1700 and 2000 (5-8 pm) local time, with a slight chance
that the front could be as early as 1500 to 1600 (3-4 pm).

Winds may be briefly strong and gusty behind the cold front, but
the direction shift will not be overly dramatic (southwest
shifting to west), and within an hour or two after the cold
frontal passage, winds should be considerably lighter.
Precipitation will likely start as rain, but could switch to snow
or a rain/snow mix Thursday night into Friday. Generally 1-3
inches of snow accumulation is possible through Friday.
