SPOT FORECAST FOR DEER HEAD...AZ-SAP
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TUCSON AZ
807 PM MST MON JUL 28 2014

FORECAST IS BASED ON REQUEST TIME OF 1942 MST ON JULY 28.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE, CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE.

IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE WE CAN, IF TIME PERMITS
PLEASE USE THE FEEDBACK OPTION TO SEND BACK THE WEATHER THAT
OCCURRED DURING THE FORECAST PERIOD YOU REQUESTED. AN EXAMPLE, THE
HIGH TEMP, MIN RH AND WIND SPEED FOR THE DAY OR THE WEATHER THAT WAS
OCCURRING DURING YOUR PRESCRIBED BURN.

.DISCUSSION...TEMPERATURE WILL INCREASE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS
AREAWIDE WHICH WILL LOWER THE MIN RH VALUES AS WELL AS OVERNIGHT
RECOVERS. CUMULUS DEVELOPMENT WILL AGAIN BE LIKELY DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING OVER THE FIRE AREA. THE WARM TEMPS/DRIER AIR
WILL ALSO BRING HIGHER CLOUD BASES. THIS INCREASES POTENTIAL FOR
STRONG DOWNBURST WINDS AND BETTER DAYTIME MIXING. THE GOOD THING IS
FLOW ALOFT REMAINS WEAK SO THERE ISN`T MUCH STRONGER WINDS TO MIX
TO THE SURFACE. THE WEAKER FLOW ALOFT WILL ALSO KEEP THE STORMS OVER
THEIR POINT OF INITIALIZATION. THAT ALL BEING SAID...THE AREA IS
STILL WORKING OFF THE RECYCLED MOISTURE FROM FRIDAYS GULF SURGE. AS
THE HIGH PRESSURE SLIDES OVERHEAD MID LEVELS WILL WARM WHICH WILL
LOWER THE LIGHTNING THREAT SOME.
