THE FLOOD POTENTIAL IS LOW FOR THE ENTIRE STATE.

...HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL DISCUSSION....

THE 500 HPA PATTERN TODAY HAS A RIDGE ACROSS MAINLAND ALASKA... AND
TROUGHS FROM THE SOUTHEAST BERING ACROSS THE AKPEN INTO THE WESTERN
GULF AND OVER THE SOUTHERN YUKON TERRITORY AND NORTHERN BRITISH
COLUMBIA.  OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS THE TROUGHS WILL MOVE EAST
AND THE RIDGE WILL MOVE SLOWLY NORTH. THE SHOWERY REGIME OVER
SOUTHEAST AND THE SOUTHERN MAINLAND WILL CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY.

THE 6 TO 10 DAY TEMPERATURE OUTLOOK HAS INCREASED PROBABILITIES OF
ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES SOUTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM ROUGHLY
POINT LAY IN THE NORTHWEST TO YAKUTAT IN THE SOUTHEAST.  NEAR NORMAL
TEMPERATURES ARE LIKELY OVER THE REST OF THE MAINLAND AND OVER
SOUTHEAST ALASKA.

THE 6 TO 10 DAY PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK HAS INCREASED PROBABILITIES OF
BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION FROM THE YUKON DELTA NORTH TO THE POINT
HOPE REGION AND THEN ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE WESTERN AND CENTRAL
BROOKS RANGE.  THERE ARE INCREASED PROBABILITIES OF ABOVE NORMAL
PRECIPITATION FROM THE AKPEN... ACROSS THE KENAI PENINSULA AND
THE NORTH GULF COAST... AND OVER SOUTHEAST ALASKA.
