This hazardous weather outlook is for east central Colorado...
extreme southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected across the region
today due to low relative humidity and gusty northwest winds.
Outdoor burning is discouraged.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will prevail Friday
through Monday and perhaps even into Tuesday as a very dry air mass
is expected to remain in place over the region. Temperatures will
climb into the 60s on Friday and into the 70s on Saturday and Sunday.
Winds look to remain in the 10 to 15 mph range; however, any
increase to the winds would tip the region into critical fire weather
conditions. Relative humidity values Friday through Monday will range
from 13 to 17 percent.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be required.
