SOUTHERLY SWELL FROM TROPICAL STORM LOWELL WILL CONTINUE TO BRING
HIGH SURF AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS TO SOUTH FACING BEACHES OF
LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES THROUGH TONIGHT. HIGH SURF ADVISORY
WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR SURF 4 TO 7 FEET WITH SETS TO 9
FEET...LOCAL 10 FT.

SOUTHERLY SWELL FROM TROPICAL STORM LOWELL WILL CONTINUE TO BRING
HIGH SURF AND DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS TO SOUTH FACING BEACHES IN LOS
ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. EXPECT 4 TO 7
FT SURF WITH MAXIMUM SETS TO 9 FEET THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. SURF
WILL THEN DIMINISH SOME THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

AN EVEN STRONGER SOUTHERLY SWELL AND SURF EVENT IS BECOMING LIKELY
BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK AS HURRICANE MARIE CONTINUES TO INTENSIFY
AND MOVE NORTHWARD IN A SIMILAR PATH TO LOWELL.
