This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Idaho...
North Central Idaho...Central Washington...East Central
Washington...North Central Washington...Northeast Washington and
Southeast Washington.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

A strong cold front will move through the area on Wednesday night
and Thursday. This front has the potential to produce
thunderstorms Wednesday night, mainly over the Idaho Panhandle.
This will be followed on Thursday by gusty west winds during the
afternoon and evening. Thursday is four days away, so the
forecast could still change, but this front has the potential to
produce some of the most significant weather of the summer. Not
only could wildfire danger be high on Wednesday night and
Thursday, but there may also be blowing dust across the Columbia
Basin, Palouse, and West Plains.
