THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE EASTERN
SAWATCH AND WESTERN MOSQUITO RANGES THROUGH THE MORNING WITH
ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES POSSIBLE BY EARLY
AFTERNOON.  GUSTY WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP
TO 45 MPH WILL CAUSE AREAS OF REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW...PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE HIGHER PEAKS AND THE
MOUNTAIN PASSES SUCH AS FREMONT AND TENNESSEE.  MEANWHILE...BITTER
COLD TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING ACROSS THE LOWER
ELEVATIONS WHERE TEMPERATURES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS AND LIGHT WINDS
WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE WIND CHILLS AROUND 0 OR IN THE NEGATIVE
SINGLE DIGITS.

ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT ALONG THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE...HOWEVER ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL REMAIN
UNDER AN INCH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVER THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE REGION,
ESPECIALLY THE MOUNTAINS OF LAKE AND CHAFFEE COUNTIES, THROUGH
NEXT WEEK. ONE BATCH OF HEAVIER SNOW WILL BE FROM SATURDAY
AFTERNOON INTO EARLY SUNDAY, WITH SOME SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS
POSSIBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS OF LAKE AND CHAFFEE COUNTIES. ANOTHER
BATCH OF HEAVIER SNOW WILL STRIKE THE SAME LOCATIONS ON TUESDAY
INTO WEDNESDAY.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
LIKELY THIS MORNING ACROSS THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS.
