...NORTHERLY GALE CONDITIONS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...

THE PACIFIC HIGH WILL MOVE TOWARDS THE COAST AND STRENGTHEN TODAY
THROUGH THURSDAY. AT THE SAME TIME A THERMAL TROUGH WILL DEVELOP
ACROSS INTERIOR CALIFORNIA. THE INTERACTION BETWEEN THESE TWO WILL
INCREASE THE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS OUR WATERS TODAY INTO
THURSDAY. THE OUTER WATERS CAN EXPECT NORTHERLY NEAR GALES TO
DEVELOP WEDNESDAY AND THEN GALE CONDITIONS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
WINDS GUSTS UP TO 40 TO 45 KT AND VERY STEEP HAZARDOUS SEAS AROUND
15 FT ARE EXPECTED. CONDITIONS SHOULD START IMPROVING ON SATURDAY
AS THE STRONGEST WINDS SHIFT TO OUR NORTHWEST.
