THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...

  NEARSHORE WATERS FROM HOLLAND TO WHITEHALL...

AT 1215 PM EDT...DENSE FOG WAS IMPACTING THE LAKE MICHIGAN SHORELINE
BETWEEN GRAND HAVEN AND WHITEHALL. THE WEB CAM AT THE MUSKEGON
CHANNEL INDICATED VISIBILITIES BELOW ONE QUARTER MILE.

THE FOG MAY EXPAND SOUTH TOWARD GRAND HAVEN AND HOLLAND THROUGH 2 PM
AS WEST WINDS BECOME A BIT MORE NORTHWESTERLY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DENSE FOG WAS REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO BELOW 1/4 MILE AROUND
MUSKEGON. REDUCE YOUR SPEED...AND KEEP A LOOKOUT FOR OTHER
VESSELS...BUOYS...AND BREAKWATERS. KEEP YOUR NAVIGATION LIGHTS ON.
IF NOT EQUIPPED WITH RADAR...YOU SHOULD CONSIDER SEEKING SAFE HARBOR.
