COASTAL WATERS FROM DESTIN TO PENSACOLA FL OUT 20 NM...
PENSACOLA BAY AREA...

AT 1128 AM CDT...MULTIPLE WATERSPOUTS REPORTED OVER SANTA ROSA SOUND
NEAR NAVARRE BEACH. NEARLY STATIONARY OR MOVING SLOWLY WEST AT 5
KNOTS.

OFF DUTY NWS EMPLOYEE REPORTED AT 1125 AM THAT THE LARGER WATERSPOUT
WAS WAS LIFTING BACK UP INTO THE CLOUDS. EMERGENCY OFFICIALS
CONTINUE TO INDICATE THAT THE WATERSPOUTS REMAIN OUT OVER THE SOUND.

WATERSPOUTS MAY OCCUR SIMULTANEOUSLY. IF A WATERSPOUT IS
SPOTTED...MOVE AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE FROM ITS APPARENT MOVEMENT AND
SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY.

MOST WATERSPOUTS DISSIPATE VERY QUICKLY UPON MOVING ASHORE...BUT CAN
PRODUCE MINOR DAMAGE TO AWNINGS...BEACH FURNITURE...AUTOMOBILES...
AND BEACH FRONT STRUCTURES. SMALL OBJECTS AND DEBRIS THROWN AROUND
BY A LAND-FALLING WATERSPOUT CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.
