...Dense Sea Fog Lingering...

.A warm moist southerly flow will continue to help produce dense
sea fog over the near shore waters through the day and into
tonight.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Dense
Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST Monday.

* VISIBILITY...One nautical mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous marine operations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one mile. Inexperienced mariners, especially
those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these
conditions.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...

Visibilities have improved as the fog has become more patchy or
dispersed. This should continue through the afternoon hours.
However, fog formation seems likely again for tonight and a dense
fog advisory may have to be re-issued.
