...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 PM MDT SATURDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREAT FALLS HAS ISSUED A HIGH
WIND WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 PM MDT SATURDAY.
THE HIGH WIND WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING AND MAIN IMPACT: SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE LATE
  TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. WINDS WILL
  BECOME EVEN STRONGER OUT OF THE WEST SATURDAY MORNING. STRONG
  WINDS WILL THEN CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON BEFORE DECREASING
  LATE IN THE AFTERNOON. TRAVEL WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS FOR THOSE
  DRIVING HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.

* WINDS: WESTERLY WINDS 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH ARE
  LIKELY...BUT 35 TO 50 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 75 MPH COULD OCCUR OVER
  HIGHER TERRAIN AND THROUGH FAVORED GAPS ALONG THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN
  FRONT.

* OTHER IMPACTS: AREAS OF POOR VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW ARE
  LIKELY IN THE MOUNTAINS. LOCALLY POOR VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING
  DUST ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE PLAINS.

* LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE: CHOTEAU...BROWNING...MARIAS PASS.

  MORNING ASSOCIATED WITH THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT. BEHIND THE
  COLD FRONT WINDS WILL LIKELY INCREASE FURTHER AND COULD BECOME
  STRONG BY AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL DIMINISH EARLY SATURDAY EVENING.
