HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EUREKA, CA

...The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued
a Hydrologic Statement in cooperation with the California Department
of Water Resources for the following rivers in California...

  Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County

Recent rainfall amounts have averaged between 2 and 3 inches across
much of the area. Additional rainfall amounts of around a quarter of
an inch are possible in showers.

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about
two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions...
call CALTRANS at 1-800-427-7623.

* Forecast information for the Eel River At Fernbridge
* The Eel River At Fernbridge to rise above Monitor Stage.
* At 05:15 PM Saturday the stage was...14.4 feet
* Minor nuisance flooding is forecast in some areas.
* Monitor Stage is 14.0 feet, Flood Stage is 20.0 feet.
* This river is Forecast to rise to near 16.8 FT near 11 PM
  then forecast to fall below monitor stage of 14.0 FT late tomorrow
  morning then forecast to recede to near 6.0 FT Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet...Expect minor flooding of western portions
  of Cannibal Island Road, Camp Weott Road and adjacent low lying
  areas. Flooding will be enhanced when the crest occurs during times
  of high tide.
