WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ
AND SOUTHERN CT.
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
427 AM EDT WED AUG 27 2014

MOST OF THE DAY WILL BE DRY ACROSS THE TRI STATE AREA TODAY...BUT A
COLD FRONT WILL BRING ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
NORTH AND WEST OF THE CITY LATE IN THE DAY. A PARTLY SUNNY SKY WILL
ALLOW HIGH TEMPERATURES TO RISE 5 TO 10 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND STORMS PUSHES EAST THROUGH THE AREA DURING
THIS EVENING AS THE COLD FRONT PASSES THROUGH...THEN WE DRY OUT LATE
AT NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE GREAT LAKES REGION
THROUGH THURSDAY...PROVIDING US WITH A SUNNY DAY AND HIGH
TEMPERATURES CLOSER TO NORMAL.
