THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
  EASTERN KANSAS
  EXTREME WESTERN AND NORTHWESTERN MISSOURI
  EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN NEBRASKA

* EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM 1005 PM
  UNTIL 500 AM CDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
  SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH LIKELY
  ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
  A TORNADO OR TWO POSSIBLE

SUMMARY...THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX OVER CENTRAL KANSAS IS ORGANIZING A
COLD POOL THAT MAY AUGMENT AN ALREADY WATCH-WORTHY DAMAGING-WIND
THREAT THAT WOULD SPREAD ACROSS AREAS EAST OF TORNADO WATCH

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 75
STATUTE MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 55 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST
OF EMPORIA KANSAS TO 25 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF FALLS CITY
