...WET AND SNOWY CONDITIONS OVER PORTION OF LINCOLN COUNTY
TONIGHT...

A plume of moisture will continue bringing rain and high
elevation snow to Lincoln County this evening before slowly
exiting the region early Friday morning. Runoff from rainfall
during the last 24 to 48 hours over the region has produced some
pronounced rises of water on the Rio Ruidoso this evening, and
other area drainages are likely seeing similar conditions.
Although water levels are not known to be near flood stage,
residents near to low lying areas or travelers on highways with
low water crossings should use caution as flooding is difficult to
see at night.

In addition, high elevation snow has created some difficult
driving conditions in the Nogal and Alto areas this evening. For
the latest road conditions, visit nmroads.com, dial 511, or
1.800.432.4269.
