...POTENTIAL FOR POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING AND RAPID RISES ON AREA
WASHES THIS AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY MORNING...

A BAND OF STEADY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD NORTHEAST ACROSS MOHAVE
COUNTY STARTING THIS MORNING. PRECIPITATION SHOULD BECOME HEAVIER
LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. TOTAL PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS IN
EXCESS OF THREE-QUARTERS OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF
MOHAVE COUNTY BY THE TIME THE STEADIER RAIN TAPERS TO SHOWERS ON
MONDAY MORNING.

ANY AREAS THAT RECEIVE HEAVIER PERIODS OF RAIN ESPECIALLY IN A SPAN
OF TWO TO THREE HOURS OR LESS COULD EASILY SEE MINOR
FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. SMALL AMOUNTS OF ROCK
AND MUD MAY EASILY WASH ONTO ROADS. RAPID RISES IN AREA WASHES ARE
POSSIBLE WHICH COULD CUT OFF ACCESS ON SECONDARY DIRT ROADS.

AREAS THAT COULD SEE MINOR FLOODING ISSUES THIS AFTERNOON INTO
MONDAY MORNING INCLUDE ANY AREAS IN KINGMAN...BULLHEAD CITY AND LAKE
HAVASU CITY THAT HAVE POOR DRAINAGE AS WELL AS THE SACRAMENTO WASH
NEAR TOPOCK AND THE DEAN PEAK BURN AREA.

IF YOU ENCOUNTER FLOODWATERS...TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN. BE
ESPECIALLY ALERT AT NIGHT WHEN FLOODWATERS ARE HARDER TO SEE.
