...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN MONO COUNTY HAS
EXPIRED...

THE STORM THAT EARLIER PROMPTED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING HAS
WEAKENED. THEREFORE THE WARNING WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE.
HOWEVER...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN NEAR THE WHITE MOUNTAINS
ALONG AND JUST EAST OF HIGHWAY 6 SOUTH OF BENTON. THESE STORMS WILL
BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS...DEADLY LIGHTNING...HEAVY RAINS
AND PENNY SIZED HAIL. THIS STORM PRODUCED NICKLE SIZED HAIL AS IT
CROSSED HIGHWAY 6.
