area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN OSAGE...NORTHWESTERN COFFEY AND CENTRAL LYON COUNTIES...

At 615 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles southeast of Osage City to 3 miles southwest
of Reading to 3 miles northwest of Emporia, moving southeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Emporia, Osage City, Lyndon, Lebo, Burlingame, Americus, Waverly,
Olpe, New Strawn, Melvern, Hartford, Neosho Rapids, Reading, Olivet,
Beto Junction, John Redmond Reservoir and Melvern Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 165.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 123 and 146.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
