LOW PRESSURE OVER THE WESTERN LAKES WILL LIFT A WARM FRONT ACROSS
NORTHERN MICHIGAN THIS MEMORIAL DAY...CONTINUING SEVERAL ROUNDS OF
RAIN AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS AS WE WRAP UP THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND.
ADDITIONAL CHANCES FOR MORE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE FOUND AT
TIMES INTO MID AND LATE WEEK...AS TEMPERATURES REMAIN ON THE WARM
SIDE. COOLER WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO MAKE A RETURN FOR THE WEEKEND.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE THROUGH THE 70S AND LOW 80S
ACROSS LOWER MICHIGAN...WHILE HOLDING IN THE 60S OVER THE U.P.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL REMAIN MILD...STAYING MAINLY IN THE 50S AND 60S.

HERE IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN.

PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN ARE EXPECTED THROUGH MIDDAY MONDAY FOR AREAS
MAINLY NORTH OF M 68 AND INTO THE EASTERN U.P....THOUGH WITH RECENT
DRY CONDITIONS...FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE
ALSO POSSIBLE OVER THE AREA AT TIMES TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...
THOUGH SEVERE STORMS ARE UNLIKELY. IN ADDITION...THERE IS A HIGH
SWIM RISK DUE TO RIP CURRENTS FROM LATE MORNING THROUGH LATE EVENING
TONIGHT FOR THE LAKE MICHIGAN BEACHES OF MANISTEE...BENZIE AND
LEELANAU COUNTIES.
