WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
238 PM CST THU DEC 8 2016

THE SURGE OF ARCTIC AIR WILL SETTLE ACROSS THE QUAD STATE REGION
TONIGHT. LIGHT NORTHWEST WINDS AND CLEAR SKIES WILL PUSH OVERNIGHT
LOWS INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER TEENS.

TEMPERATURES WILL STRUGGLE TO REACH THE FREEZING MARK ON FRIDAY,
EVEN WITH MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES.

EVEN THOUGH WINDS WILL RETURN BACK TO THE SOUTH FRIDAY NIGHT INTO
SATURDAY MORNING, TEMPERATURES WILL STILL DROP BACK INTO THE UPPER
TEENS AROUND DAYBREAK ON SATURDAY.

CLOUDS WILL INCREASE DURING THE DAY ON SATURDAY. PRECIPITATION IS
FORECAST TO RETURN ACROSS SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AS A SMALL CHANCE OF
A WINTRY MIX LATE SATURDAY NIGHT, THEN SWITCH QUICKLY TO A COLD
RAIN OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE QUAD STATE REGION DURING THE DAY ON
SUNDAY AND INTO SUNDAY EVENING.

A SMALL CHANCE FOR A WINTRY MIX MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE NEXT TUESDAY
NIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY.
