WEATHER SYNOPSIS

WITH THE COMBINATION OF AN ADVANCING FRONTAL SYSTEM AND WARM, MOIST
SOUTHWEST FLOW OF WINDS, RAIN SHOWER CHANCES WILL BE ON THE
INCREASE FROM THE SOUTHWEST AFTER MIDNIGHT, ESPECIALLY ACROSS
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI, THE KENTUCKY PURCHASE AREA AND SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS. A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER MAY OCCUR ALONG THE TENNESSEE
BORDER. THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS WILL TRANSLATE EAST DURING THE
DURING THE DAY SATURDAY AND THE COLD FRONT WILL PASS ACROSS THE
AREA BY SATURDAY EVENING. THE CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION WILL
CONTINUE ACROSS THE KENTUCKY PENNYRILE AREA INTO MID DAY SUNDAY,
AND BY THE EVENING HOURS MANY COMMUNITIES WILL BE DRY AS HIGH
PRESSURE FILTERS INTO THE REGION FROM THE NORTHWEST. TEMPERATURES
WILL REMAIN UNSEASONABLY WARM UNTIL SATURDAY EVENING, WITH A
RETURN TO MORE SEASON LIKE TEMPERATURES SUNDAY.
