...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Plan on difficult travel conditions. 3 to 6
  inches of snow through today south of the New York Thruway, and
  6 to 9 inches of snow through today north of the Thruway. Then,
  lake effect snow tonight through Wednesday bringing an
  additional 3 to 6 inches snow to the Warning area.

* WHERE...Oneida, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Onondaga, Madison, Cortland
  and Chenango Counties.

* WHEN...Warning in effect until 6 PM EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will gust as high as 35 mph from
  late today through tonight, and especially Wednesday. This will
  cause some blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...On-and-off snow. Slippery road conditions possible. Only
  1 to 2 inches of snow through mid day, but then snow squalls
  possible this afternoon with low visibility and abrupt snow
  covered roads. After that, lake effect snow showers tonight
  through Wednesday, bringing an additional 2 to 4 inches of snow.

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Susquehanna and Northern Wayne
  Counties. In New York, Yates, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung,
  Tompkins, Otsego, Tioga, Broome, Delaware and Sullivan
  Counties.

* WHEN...Advisory in effect until 6 PM EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will gust as high as 35 mph from
  late today through tonight, and especially Wednesday. This will
  cause some blowing and drifting snow.
