...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

Temperatures have begun to warm across the area late this morning
with the heaviest of precipitation coming to an end. Road
conditions have improved as well. While additional snowfall is
possible into the afternoon, any accumulations are expected to be
minor.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT
SATURDAY...

* IMPACTS...Travel in the high country will be affected by
  periods of heavy snowfall. Hunters and recreationists should
  be prepared for dangerous winter conditions.

* TIMING...Through tonight. Periods of snow showers will continue
  to move through the area.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION...10 to 15 inches, greatest on
  eastern slopes above 7000 feet in the Crazy Mountains. 10 to
  20 inches, greatest above 8000 feet in the
  Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be sure to have a winter emergency kit with you should you become
stranded in the back country.
