...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash freeze occurring. The rain and freezing rain has
  ended. Temperatures are quickly dropping with the wet slushy
  roads and sidewalks quickly becoming icy. Travel will be
  hazardous for the morning commute. North winds gusting up to 55
  mph will continue into the afternoon hours. Later this morning
  and afternoon, these winds may combine with some light falling
  snow to produce visibilities less than a half mile at times,
  especially in open country.

* WHERE...Northern and central Red River Valley.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads.
Slow down and use caution while driving. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Rain and freezing rain occurring. Roads and sidewalks
  will be partially icy as the temperature is above freezing.
  However, the temperature will quickly drop as the precipitation
  comes to an end, and the wet slushy roads and sidewalks will
  quickly become icy. Travel will be hazardous for the morning
  commute. North winds gusting up to 55 mph will develop and
  continue into the afternoon hours. Later this morning and
  afternoon, these winds may combine with some light falling snow
  to produce visibilities less than a half mile at times,
  especially in open country.

* WHERE...Southern Red River Valley.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.

* WHAT...Freezing rain occurring. The ice will result in very
  slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges, including
  during the morning commute. Total ice accumulations up to a
  tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northwest and west
  central Minnesota.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM CST this morning.
