URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Goodland KS
318 AM MDT Sat Apr 29 2017

...WINTER STORM TO IMPACT TRI-STATE REGION...

.A developing winter storm will impact the region today and Sunday.
Ground temperatures will have a large impact on snow
accumulations, particularly through the day today. Snow will also
tend to mix with or change to rain which may also lower possible
amounts through this afternoon. We are still anticipating light to
moderate snow accumulations for locations generally along and
west of highway 83 through the afternoon. Don`t let your guard
down, because this is a very strong system and by tonight a heavy
band of wet snow will develop. This will bring the most severe
impacts including road closures and power outages to the region
late tonight through Sunday morning before slowly tapering off or
changing to rain Sunday afternoon and evening.
