Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
310 PM CDT Fri Apr 12 2024 /210 PM MDT Fri Apr 12 2024/

Surface high pressure over the area this afternoon will move east
overnight, while a weak surface trough approaches from the west. The
pressure difference between these two systems will bring southerly
winds to the area through the overnight, thus keeping temperatures on
the mild side. A warm air mass will move across the Northern Plains
this weekend into Monday, pushing high temperatures well above normal.
An area of low pressure is expected to bring rain showers to the
area Monday and Tuesday, followed by cooler temperatures by the end
of the week.

Lows tonight will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s. Highs on
Saturday will range from the mid 70s to mid 80s. Temperatures in the
70s and 80s can be expected Sunday and Monday as well, before
dropping back into the 40s and 50s to end next week.
