...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CHESTERFIELD...
NORTHEASTERN NOTTOWAY...NORTHWESTERN DINWIDDIE AND SOUTHEASTERN
AMELIA COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM EDT...

At 829 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Scotts Fork, or near Mannboro, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Mannboro around 835 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include North Wellville,
Earls, Ammon, Darvills, Winterham, Center Star, Church Road,
Wellville, Five Forks, and Walkers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central and south central Virginia.
