Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
228 PM CST Fri Nov 17 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Gusty southerly winds will persist for the rest of the day and
relax as a cold front approaches from the north. Upon frontal
passage winds will switch to the northwest around 25 to 35 mph,
with a few gusts approaching 40 mph. Dry air will bring fire
weather concerns, as any ignited fire will have an ability to
spread rapidly. Fuels are still a bit green, but are drying, so
fire weather will be concerning through the day on Saturday.
