Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
445 AM CST Sat Feb 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...

While wind speeds today will stay below critical thresholds, RH
values, particularly south of U.S. Hwy 36, look to drop into the
20 to 30 percent range. Coupled with persistent dry fuels, it adds
up to heightened fire weather concerns for this afternoon. The
next precip chances look to move into the area on Sunday so fire
weather concerns will be low for the latter half of the weekend.
