Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
232 AM CST Wed Dec 13 2017

.DISCUSSION...
The combination of dry surface fuels, gusty northwest winds,
and low humidity, will set the stage for another day of
elevated fire danger across the lower Missouri Valley this
Wednesday. The greatest threat will be over northwest Missouri
and far northeastern Kansas where wind gusts up to 35 mph will
possible. Conditions will begin to improve towards evening as
20-m winds weaken and humidity values begin to recover. High
pressure building into the region on Thursday will result in
weaker winds and improved conditions to close out the work week.
