FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NE KANSAS/NW MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL MO
401 PM CDT FRI SEP 19 2014

.DISCUSSION...

THE OVERALL FIRE DANGER THREAT WILL REMAIN LOW THROUGH SATURDAY DUE
TO HIGH HUMIDITY VALUES...WEAK WINDS AND THE THREAT OF RAIN.

COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL SPREAD OVER THE REGION ON SUNDAY AND REMAIN
IN PLACE INTO TUESDAY. WHILE LOWER HUMIDITY LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN
THE AFTERNOON HOURS THEY WILL REMAIN ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS AND WIND
SPEEDS REMAIN LIGHT NEGATING THE THREAT OF WILDFIRES BURNING OUT OF
CONTROL.
