Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
256 PM CST Thu Feb 16 2017

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

Critical fire danger will continue this afternoon with high
temperatures, very low humidity values and strong/gusty
southwesterly winds. Conditions will improve later this evening as
temperatures cool and humidity levels increase.

Fire danger should be lower on Friday although the antecedent
conditions should keep the risk in the high to very range. But with
higher moisture and lower winds, critical fire danger isn`t
expected. But given how dry things, care should be taken when
burning.
