FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NE KANSAS/NW MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL MO
312 PM CDT SAT JUL 12 2014

.DISCUSSION...

LITTLE IN THE WAY OF FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS TODAY AS HIGH MOISTURE
CONTENT WILL KEEP RH VALUES ABOVE CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. WINDS WILL BE
OUT OF THE SOUTH THROUGH THE DAY...BUT AS SUNSET APPROACHES WINDS
WILL DIE OFF AND BECOME VARIABLE. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...BUT DON`T EXPECT MORE THAN A
COUPLE TENTHS OF AN INCH OF RAIN. SOME AREAS WON`T GET MORE THAN A
FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH.

WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE NORTH AT 5 TO 10 MPH THROUGH THE REMAINDER
OF THE WEEKEND WITH DRY CONDITIONS ON SUNDAY...THEN PERHAPS ANOTHER
CHANCE FOR RAIN ON MONDAY.
