FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NE KANSAS/NW MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL MO
333 AM CST MON JAN 26 2015

.DISCUSSION...

TEMPERATURES WILL WARM INTO THE 50S TODAY WITH WINDS INCREASING BY
LATE MORNING TO 10 TO 15 MPH OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST BEFORE SHIFTING TO THE
WEST-NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH AND GUSTS TO 25 MPH BEHIND A COLD
FRONT THIS AFTERNOON. THIS MAY LEAD TO A SLIGHTLY ELEVATED FIRE
DANGER HOWEVER...RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES BETWEEN 35 AND 45 PERCENT
WILL BE WELL ABOVE CRITICAL FIRE THRESHOLDS. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
ABOVE AVERAGE ON TUESDAY HOWEVER LIGHT WINDS WILL PRECLUDE AN
ENHANCED FIRE DANGER.
