WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...AS WELL AS EXTREME EASTERN KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES BETWEEN 100 TO 105 ARE LIKELY.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS NORTHWESTERN MISSOURI
AND FAR NORTHEASTERN KANSAS. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY. HEAT INDEX
VALUES WILL BE IN THE UPPER 90S TO 103.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
FRIDAY...PRIMARILY ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 70. A BETTER CHANCE
FOR THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND FOR MUCH OF THE AREA. THE
OVERALL SEVERE WEATHER POTENTIAL APPEARS LOW AT THIS TIME.
