WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...AS WELL AS EXTREME EASTERN KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

HEAT INDICES DURING THE REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON WILL RANGE BETWEEN
100 TO 105.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS NORTHWESTERN MISSOURI
AND FAR NORTHEASTERN KANSAS. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY. AFTERNOON HEAT
INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 100 TO 105 ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 70.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT
PRIMARILY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 70. THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS
INCREASES ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...WITH THE
BETTER CHANCES DURING THE WEEKEND. THE OVERALL SEVERE WEATHER
POTENTIAL APPEARS LOW AT THIS TIME.
