This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Strong to severe storms are expected to develop this afternoon and
 will increase in coverage and intensity as they move southward this
 evening. Strong straight line winds and hail are the main threats,
 but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

 Very hot and humid conditions will result in dangerous heat indices
 in the 100-110 degree range this afternoon.
