A FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT TUESDAY.

* LOCATION: FAR EASTERN KANSAS AND MISSOURI.

* TIMING: TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW FREEZING LATE THIS EVENING
  INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE
  FROM 24 TO 29 DEGREES AROUND DAYBREAK.

* IMPACTS: UNPROTECTED VEGETATION COULD BE DAMAGED OR KILLED.
  TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW 28 DEGREES WILL DAMAGE WARM SEASON
  VEGETABLE TRANSPLANTS. AT 24 DEGREES...MOST FRUIT TREE
  BLOSSOMS CURRENTLY AT FULL BLOOM WILL HAVE 90 PERCENT DAMAGE.
