PRECIPITATION CHARACTERIZED KANSAS CITY WEATHER IN FEBRUARY...

The average temperature at the Kansas City International Airport was
43.6 degrees, which was 10.1 degrees above normal. The average high
temperature was 55.8 degrees, or 12.5 degrees above normal. The
average low temperature was 31.5 degrees, which was 7.7 degrees
above normal. The highest temperature for the month was 79 degrees
on the 22nd. The lowest temperature was 12 degrees on the 9th. This
was the 3rd warmest February on record.

Precipitation came in at 0.06 inches for the month, or 1.40 inches
below normal. The greatest total in a 24 hour period was 0.06 inches
on the 20th. This was the 2nd driest February on record. The total
snowfall for the month was a trace, which was 5.4 inches below
normal. This was tied for the 2nd least snowiest February on record.
