...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR THE 08/26/2016 LATHROP TORNADO...

ON THE EVENING OF FRIDAY AUGUST 26, 2016 A SUPERCELL PRODUCED
A TORNADO IN CLINTON COUNTY MISSOURI. THE INITIAL FORMATION
OF THE TORNADO OCCURRED JUST WEST OF LATHROP MISSOURI AND IT
DISSIPATED NEAR THE TOWN. VERY LITTLE DAMAGE WAS REPORTED FROM
THIS TORNADO...BUT IT WAS CONFIRMED VIA SEVERAL EYE WITNESS
ACCOUNTS AND VIDEO SUBMITTED TO THE OFFICE VIA SOCIAL MEDIA.
