A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON
WEDNESDAY TO 6 AM CST THURSDAY.

* LOCATION...NORTHERN AND A SMALL PART OF CENTRAL MISSOURI

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN FALLING DURING THE LATE MORNING AND
  EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS ON WEDNESDAY. SOME AREAS MIGHT SEE SOME LIGHT
  RAIN PRIOR TO THE SNOW FORMING...ESPECIALLY DURING THE DAY TIME
  HOURS ON WEDNESDAY. AFTER PERHAPS A BRIEF PERIOD OF RAIN AND SNOW
  MIX EXPECT ALL SNOW BY WEDNESDAY EVENING. SNOW INTENSITIES WILL BE
  HIGHEST DURING THE EVENING HOURS. SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE
  NIGHT...AND EXIT THE AREA THURSDAY MORNING.

* SNOW/ICE ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 6 INCHES...WITH PERHAPS
  LOCALIZED AMOUNTS EXCEEDING 6 INCHES...MAINLY NEAR THE IOWA
  AND MISSOURI BORDER.

* IMPACTS...SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS MAKING THEM VERY SLICK.
  NORTHERLY WINDS WILL COMBINE WITH THE LIGHT TO MODERATE
  SNOW...MAINLY OVERNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO BRING VISIBILITY DOWN
  TO UNDER 1 MILE AT TIMES. DRIFTING WILL ALSO LIKELY OCCUR ON
  ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY THOSE RUNNING EAST AND WEST.

* OTHER IMPACTS...WIND CHILL VALUES EARLY THURSDAY MORNING WILL
  BE IN THE 5 TO 10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO RANGE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
