CANCELED THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

THE BAND OF HEAVIER SNOW WHICH COULD CAUSE TRAVEL PROBLEMS HAS
SHIFTED FURTHER NORTH AND NO LONGER THREATENS THE AREA. INTERMITTENT
LIGHT SNOW AND FLURRIES ARE LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT BUT
SNOWFALL TOTALS SHOULD BE HALF AN INCH OR LESS.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT
CST TONIGHT.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHEASTERN KANSAS...AND THE ENTIRE NORTH-CENTRAL
  AND NORTHWEST MISSOURI REGIONS.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION BY EARLY AFTERNOON. THE
  SNOW WILL BECOME INTERMITTENT OR TRANSITION TO FLURRIES THIS EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS FAR
  NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. SNOW AMOUNTS WILL DECREASE
  SOUTHWARD TO AROUND AN INCH FROM NORTHERN PORTIONS OF KANSAS CITY
  TO MACON. SOUTH OF THE MISSOURI RIVER HALF AN INCH TO AN INCH OF
  SNOW IS POSSIBLE THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES WILL
  RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL ACROSS THE REGION TODAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
